1998 April - Created my first web site, hosted by Claranet
1998 End of April - Began constructing second web site - more ambitious - hosted by
Geocities
1998 July - Created new site at Freeserve, principally to host some memory tips
1999 October - Major update:
- redesigned navigation links
- added a "next page" feature
- added a page of "essential freeware"
- added a "visitors suggestions" page to memory tips
1999 October 28 - Registered my Domain Name - MarkGiles.co.uk
1999 November 7 - Uploaded this site to Markgiles.co.uk
1999 November 14 - Added a "quick memory tips" page
1999 November 15 - Added "table of contents" page
1999 November 17 - Added a couple of web counters
2000 April 14 - Major update to freebies, to include competitions
2000 May 6 - Major revamp - changed navigation to frames - I hope you like it!
2000 May 21 - Altered external links to ensure that they load in whole browser window!
2000 June 9 - Added scan of AllAdvantage.com cheque to make money on the internet page
2000 Mid-December -
Moved most of site back to Freeserve to enable me to update more often, and
for free. Also rehashed pages, removed references to AllAdvantage - I
feel that I can no longer recommend them as they have turned their rewards
scheme into a Sweepstake.
2003 August - As TheCounter.com has stopped its free counting, I did a revamp
of my site, removed their counters
