Kevin Trudeau (Yeah, I know, I know, it's corny but he makes some good points) gave this hint. As you put down your keys (or do whatever) down on the table, IMAGINE SOME RADICAL (and thus memorable) ACTION, eg. in your mind as you throw the keys on the table, the table explodes with a big bang, fireworks going of and splinters of wood and keys fly all over the place. Now, where did you put the keys? -- well, on the _________ , of course! ;)

#2 Also, I have used the following technique for reminding myself to do things. Say, you want to remember (better than to say "don't want to FORGET!!) to bring a CD to a friend who you will be visiting later on. IMAGINE yourself walking out the door (for simplicity's sake I take it you have only one way to leave the house) and it is raining big, and I mean BIG, shiny silver, green, red, massive CDs that are falling down on and destroying all the cars in the street while you hear that music pumping in your ears, and all you can do is to laugh hysterically after which you feel truly sad for the neighbours (EMOTIONS are KEY to the UNCONSCIOUS and remembering!

#3 THINK OF NEW APPLICATIONS AND TOOLS I am only getting started and I can already think of new applications and tools to use. Maybe these methods aren't as useful for everybody, BUT they are even more benificial WHEN you have use for them. Try to make up your own system to remember dance steps, musical scores, martial arts movements, dialogues, to remember and create new cooking recipies, etc.

From: Yuval Adam AKA UV Dude    Email Yuval    Yuval's Website Let's say that at school you told someone you'd call him in the afternoon.
Now, most likely, if you don't have a piece of paper to write on, you'll forget about it, but there's a way to remember!
Right after you meet the person, take a pen and make a visible mark on your palm or hand.
Then, whenever you see this mark, you'll remember
"Hey, I made this mark because I have to call ____ in the afternoon!"
I find this method VERY useful!
Enjoy!
